TTY Relay Service

Dial 7-1-1 or 1-800-735-2962

Deaf caller uses the TTY to type comments to a relay operator, the relay operator reads the typed lines to the hearing person. The relay operator relays the hearing person’s spoken words by typing them back to the TTY user.

ASCII Relay Service

Computer users can also access Relay NC directly. ASCII Split Screen is designed to allow high speed ASCII computer users and relay operators to type and communicate with more speed and accuracy. Typed text by the caller and the operator will appear on split screen windows. ASCII users can interrupt the operator when desired and and the operator can interrupt the ASCII user if requested by the voice party.

Set your communications software to the following protocols at speeds ranging from 300 to 2400 baud:
