TeleBraille Relay Service for Deaf-Blind

Dial 7-1-1 or 1-800-735-2962

Deaf-blind users often use special TTY's equipped with TeleBraille. Relay operators are trained to respond to the telecommunication needs of deaf-blind relay users.

Text Pacing:
During TeleBraille relay calls, the relay operator types at a regular pace. The message comes across on the user's TeleBraille at a default rate of 15 words per minute. This allows the user to have a more readable rhythm. The deaf-blind user can request an increased or decreased rate of text in in five words per minute increments.
